Chase 2 Coast Holiday - Cannock Chase to Aberystwyth, 4 days and 140 miles of mainly off road riding.

Starting at Cannock Chase, this holiday takes in 140 Miles (225 KM), tackling almost 16,000 feet (4,900 M) of ascending and more than 16,000 feet (4,900 M) of descending before riding into Aberystwyth on the Welsh West Coast 4 days later. This equates to an average day of almost 35 miles of mainly off-road riding.The cost of this holiday includes 4 nights accommodation, breakfast, lunch and a support vehicle that carries the riders luggage between accommodation. Transport back to Cannock Chase is also included on the Sunday morning.
Secure lockup is provided at all accommodation and any repairs or maintenance can be carried out if needed.
The route heads West from Cannock Chase and takes in some breath-taking scenery, including The Long Mynd Mountain (complete with Minton Batch!) before heading into the vast Mid Wales mountains and winding it's way to the Pier at Aberystwyth. The Saturday night will then be a celebration of your achievment and the first pint is on us!
The accommodation is Hostel based, therefore, please bear in mind that you may be sharing rooms (mixed sex) in a dormatory format. Evening meals are not included in the cost.

Due to the intensive riding involved this holiday is for fit experienced riders that can ride 4 days in a row for more than 30 miles.
All riders must be at least 15 years old and are required to bring the following;

All participants must provide a Mountain Bike with Off-Road tyres fitted (front suspension is highly recommended) and it is the participants responsibility to ensure that the bike is safe and fit for purpose. We recommend that the bike is serviced by a competent person prior to attending.
Luggage is transported between accommodation onboard the support vehicle, therefore, space is a premium. Luggage must be kept to a maximum of one bag per rider plus Sleeping bag and any food/drink supplies.

Due to the costs involved in running this holiday, there is a minimum requirement for 6 riders. If in the unlikely event that this minimum requirement is not met 4 weeks prior to the holiday, then all monies will be refunded.
The intention of the holiday is to ride as much of the route off-road, however, please be aware that some of the riding will involve road sections.
